| The Story Behind the Site |
Infusician.com evolved from a passion for music. A musician at heart, the founder of Infusician always wanted to form a band. The process of making a band proved to be more difficult than imagined - finding the right levels of talent, securing rehearsal space, coordinating times around work schedules..the obstacles were endless. Ironically, this reality check was a refreshing slap in the face as a bigger desire transpired - the idea of an extensive community for musicians.
Wouldn't it be awesome if a musician could search for a band mate, find a gig, check out the local music scene, discover the latest music trends in another country, find mixes to incorporate into their songs, jam with musicians around the world, create soundtracks to raw videos, and exchange music career advice - all from a central hub? Ultimately, Infusician grew to be a place where musicians with varying levels of talent from all over the world could collaborate - across cities, countries, continents - at anytime. The tiny dream to form a band became a colossal desire to provide a place for an international fusion of musicians at a place called Infusician.
The mission of Infusician.com is to be "The place for uninhibited music collaboration, discovery, and listening."

| Penny Lew |
Penny Lew is the founder of Infusician.com. Since the age of 9 years old, she has been struck with the music bug. In her early years, she performed in various groups ranging from concert, jazz, pep and marching bands. She even had her 5 seconds of fame when she was featured on live television performing with the Wyoming All-State Marching Band during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Yes, although she doesn't look it, she does have cowboy roots!
In 2006, with the proliferation of music websites such as MySpace, GarageBand, and Last.fm, Penny discovered a critical niche that the market did not address - a turn-key music collaboration website. A single place did not exist where musicians anywhere in the world could do everything music - make mix mashups, jam live online, and create soundtracks to video footage. So, Penny, realizing what a huge untapped market that this represented, formed Infusician.com to be this destined place. Infusician.com's audacious goal is "to be the place for the international fusion of musicians."
Prior to forming Infusician.com, LLC, Penny worked in roles as a business analyst and market researcher with Mervyns and Gap Inc. Most recently, she was a senior consultant with Accenture. She currently resides in the hotbed of information technology - San Francisco.
